I find it hard to believe the witch would save someone on day 1, when there is no intelligence to indicate the value of the victim. Which means I agree with [info]parzanese's statement that the afflicted was found.

I also hate to start the bandwagon so soon. Any other opinions?

Oh, and I'm active now. F***ed by the time zone again. I'm going to set an alarm clock next time!

well if the witch had been targeted by the wolves, then they would obviously use the potion to save themselves . . .

failing that, it is very hard to believe that the witch would save someone on night 1, although it did happen to me once when the wolves jumped me night one and the witch was new, so she saved me . . .

and the mentioning of characters in the top is simply flavor text . . . it means nothing and is simply coincedence . . . there is no proof of daedalus's innocence or guilt up there :)

Statements like this aren't much good. If the wolves found the afflicted, the afflicted would naturally lie and say he wasn't attacked. Would the witch know? If so I'd think they'd know who to poison tonight.

Alternate theory: the WITCH was attacked, and used the healing potion to save herself. In which case the wolves know who the witch is, so she might as well come out to everybody.

If some non-witch was attacked last night, they should come out and the witch should stay hidden. If more than one victim comes out, the witch will know who to poison tonight.

That said, I'm not the witch, and I was not attacked last night.

Also, I vote [info]gjunell, on grounds of him being idle.

Voting out [info]gjunell will probably just rid us of a normal villager. A wolf or special would have said at least one thing by now.

Voting on old jokes/suspicions/grudges doesn't help either.

Actually, there's less than a 50% chance this game of anyone being a normal villager. It's more likely that any particular individual is either a special or only *thinks* they're a villager.

Actually, historically, inactive players get killed off by the GM somtime mid-game. This is in addition to the daily lynch and nightly eat. If we assume you're correct about [info]gjunell being a villager, this effectively gives the wolves an extra kill.

I'd rather not give these wolfy bastards the extra kill.

someone tell me if this logic is right...

we've got two independant seers. they spied on night zero and on night one. they didn't spy on themselves. no seer spied on anyone twice. they also didn't spy on [info]maniakes on night one.

there are 17568 ways this could happen. 233 (1%) of those ways involve them spying on the same two people. 5025 (28%) involve them spying on three unique people. The other 12310 (70%) involve them spying on four unique people.

In other words, there's a 70% chance we've spied on four people already. 98% chance we've spied on three. That's not too shabby. Knowing for sure the state of four players on day 2 would be a big help. If both seers come out today, only one can get eaten tonight. If last night was an afflicted eat, we might even have a witch save left. even if we don't, we should have enough exposed to make it worthwhile for EVERYONE to come out. and push for a solution.

or am I just crazy?

The afflicted and the ralph [info]nader are what throw a spanner into the works. Because of them, if the seers reveal themselves early, they could get a real villager killed, or falsely identify the afflicted as villager. Which really doesn't help the hairless team very much.

Secondly, having 2 seers means a wolf can masquerade as a seer more easily, at least for a night or two. Given 3 people claiming to be seers, how do you identify the one with a tail? Especially this early in the game.

Well, jeeze. Am I in the lead for being lynched? I'll have to check that. Last I saw I had one vote. Seems suspicious for you to vote for me (19%) instead of [info]gjunell (26%) or someone with a higher percentage on your list. Even if there is a tie- there's a run-off. also there's nothing to stop seers from spying on each other, so gorrillashaman's percents are slightly off (not by much probably) . . . if I understand correctly, independent seers means they don't even know about each other, so could both spy on each other . . .

Anyway- evbilben always asserts that he's just a vanilla villager no specials or wolfiness- but he hasn't this time. Usually he starts with that as soon as he's voted for. So that's my reason for voting for him.

Is it a fool-proof reason- no, of course not. But it is a reason, and not just a shot in the dark.

If it looks like I'm getting lynched I'll change my vote to tie with [info]gjunell if I have to. But I'd rather everyone switch over to [info]evilben (and then hope I'm right).
