The maddening howl of the Werewolf haunted your dreams last night. In this vivid, shared, nightmare, everyone in the Village sprouted hair at the full moon and advanced on you, tearing you limb from limb. You awoke in a cold sweat, wondering what new horror and revelation the wan autumn sun will bring.

The Church bell announces the night's death, the Maiden [info]perkyevil. Under her torn bodice, upon her sternum is revealed the pyramid and eye tatoo of the Freemasons.

We've all been talking in fairly absolute terms for a couple of rounds now that today is the end of the game (we'll have lynched all three suspects that we've been holding onto for the last couple of days) -- but it just occurred to me that if for some reason we've been playing it wrong and [info]gpeefalt isn't the wolf, then whoever is will have won.

With only three villagers and a wolf, if we miss and lynch the wrong person today - the wolf kills someone tonight and devours the last man standing tomorrow in broad daylight when our numbers are equal.

Now - I'm absolutely certain we've got the right man here, but I just thought I'd make the stakes clear to all.

How's the tally tool keep up with non-sequential vote changes with the same reported post-time? Or is that why they have to be processed in unvote/vote statement pairs? =)

I'd hate to accidentally lose the game for us villagers by fucking around with voting in the last round.

daedalus could have attacked [info]gpeefalt thinking that he was one of the last remaining possibilities for seer and found out he was the afflicted . . .

daedalus could have attacked [info]flipperchaz thinking he was the hunter and that [info]flipperchaz would have taken someone randomly out, but then found out he was the afflicted . . . although signs of this are way down as [info]gpeefalt would be the hunter and he so far hasn't said a thing . . .

If he's not the wolf, he's gotta be the HUNTER, CUPID, or a MASON. The fact that he claimed to be confused, clutching at straws, and voting for you implies that he is not the HUNTER or CUPID. And [info]perkyevil backed you up on being a MASON. He's the wolf.

By the same token, I might suspect you at this point were it not for [info]perkyevil's confirmation that you two were the masons.

There's been no evidence to support [info]flipperchaz's claim to be the Hunter other than the complete lack of anybody countering his claim. The hunter would be a good character for a wolf to claim being since he'd be slow to get killed for fear of taking out 2 innocents - but the time for false claims or refutation was days ago.

Now - now we all just wait and ride out our destiny.

I'm pretty confident that you're the Hunter and [info]gpeefalt is the Afflicted. But if I change my vote to you (counting on you having your gun pointed at him), then we take out both of you and the question is moot.

That'd be putting all the marbles into the sole belief that [info]parzanese is the verified Other Mason. A claim that is significantly more reliable than you as the Hunter. I don't believe that I can convince you to vote [info]parzanese instead of [info]gpeefalt, and again, if we don't kill the last wolf in today's lynching, then we all die.

But I'm still convinced that it's [info]gpeefalt as the last wolf. If it gets to be sunset and we're at an impasse then, sadly, I may have to side with [info]parzanese against you to ensure getting both you and [info]gpeefalt - but that relies on you staying targetted on him. Something I'm not sure we could all rely on if we just voted to lynch you.

No - I'm still sure you're the Hunter.

I mean - the only claim [info]gpeefalt has made all game is that he's a plain old villager. And well - there aren't any plain old villagers left in the game.
