| Werewolves will first try to get a no vote for the sheriff and then if they fail at that attempt to get one of their own elected. SO watch who votes no and then watch who they want elected to the spot if it passes instead. | |||

| I just think that voting for a sheriff is premature at this time. | |||

| I think you are a serial killer or a werewolf. How can voting in a protector of the people be premature? | |||

| I'm all for a protector, but I think it too likely at this juncture that we may elect a werewolf or a serial killer by mistake. | |||

| right now, the only options are : A) 2 votes for a serial killer, who wants to kill everyone B) 2 votes for the seer, who may or may not C) 2 votes for a wolf, that only wants to kill villagers D) 2 votes for a special character, that has no idea who the wolves might be, other than speculation. E) 2 votes for a regular villager, that has no ideal who the wolves might be, other than speculation. | |||

| I vote yes because it has one more letter than no. If elected to the post, I will gladly serve. Please don't vote for me. | |||

| A bit over-eager, are we? It doesn't even look like the vote for a sheriff is going to pass and you're already nominating yourself. | |||

| Yes, and then telling people not to vote for me. This is my way of saying that this early in the game it is 100% irrelevant. | |||

| I do not see how electing a sheriff on the second day will help. An extra vote would not have saved | |||

| I think we need a sheriff and I think we need to elect one while there are enuf of us alive to make a good choice. Just don't elect me, I always get slaughtered by day three anyway, the last thing I need is a big target painted on my butt! | |||

| My logic in voting yes is fairly simple. Yes, the sheriff DOES get two votes, and if the wolves get it, it's bad. But I've seen nothing here that says we can't lynch the sheriff. Right now, mob rule seems to be the order fo the day; there hasn't yet been a situation in which one vote would matter. Personally, I watch how the sheriff votes, and if no wolves are getting caught, then remove him as a collaborator. This seems simple enough to me, and I fail to see how it's such a terrible idea that people so vehemently oppose it. It frankly sheds a bit of suspicion on those who ARE vehementaly opposing it; what if we get a sheriff elected and then those people who opposed it | |||
