| 1) the werehamster (not hampster) kills one person a night (and looking up the official rules from Lupus in Tabula that's actually incorrect, so my bad), and can be killed if the Seer looks at him, but can't be killed if the werewolves target him. However, I believe Joel has ruled that the WH also can't be killed by the witch or the hunter. 2) normally no. | |||

| The Innkeeper disappears from the main Church for a moment and then returns with a large dusty tome. "A reading from Libers De Nocturnus. The Werehampster is a Damned Creature most foul. He is immune to the killing powers of Hunters' guns, Witches' poisons, and Werewolves' claws. The only way for the dreaded Werehampster can be killed is by an organized lynching carried out on hallowed ground, or for a Seer to peer in on his doings at night, for the Seer's Powers are deadly to the Werehampster. Further more, no Man can stop his terrible nightly killings, neither the Bodyguards' skills, nor the Witches' healing, nor the Martyrs' life. The Dread Werehamster is greatly to be Feared." He shuts the book and looks grimly about. | |||

| Apparently and I looked last night in Lupus in Tabula, the werehamster doesn't get to kill anyone at night. He is killed by the Seer and killed by Lynching. There is no Witch or Hunter or Cupid in that version so it doesn't say anything. The hamster is considered a villager for purposes of end game results which means if there are two wolves, one villager, and one hamster, the game is over. It also means that if you lynch all the wolves, and the hamster is still alive, the game is also over. When the game finishes, if the hamster is still alive, he wins. | |||

| Not quite. Someone could step forward and say they were saved so we'd at least know what occurred last night and could be able to rule out 1 and 4. Obviously no one would back them up, however, unless they wanted to be partially outed. If option one happened, it's in the WW's best interest to send one of their numbers forward and allow us to lynch the werehamster . . . but of course that's never going to happen, cause a werewolf would be outed. | |||

| Tough call. The afflicted only appeared in one previous game, and the werehamster has never appeared before. So usually when someone states they've been saved, it's been pretty cut and dry. Obviously this time, a wolf or the afflicted (well now a wolf if option 4) could easily state they've been saved by the bodyguard or the witch. Course the witch or the bodyguard would know that's a lie (then the problem comes with them getting that info to the rest of us). | |||

I personally don't see why you've decided its me, its awful early in the day to start throwing accusations. I haven't even had my coffee. | Sorry, it's nothing personal. I really have no information at all as to whether you're a wolf or not, and I picked you at random. I use posts like this as an icebreaker to promote conversation and discussion. These lead to more information flow and a greater chance of the village learning who the wolves are. Don't worry, if and when a more likely target presents itself, I will happily change my vote. | |||

| Ok a few more questions, then... When a werewolf kill is unsuccessful, are the wolves told why? If the werewolves attack the AFFLICTED, are the remaining players told that there's now one more werewolf that needs a 'killin? | I voted for you yesterday, for the sake of voting. the only "clue" I based it on was your flavor text. you didn't die. i've got no vendettas, and it seems likely tonights choice can be based on something with at least the smell of information or guess. as opposed to blind lynching | |||

| well the benefit is determined by what roles they have . . . if they are both villagers, the benefit is completely on the side of the were creatures . . . if they are both weres the benefit is completely on our side . . . if they are one of each, then the benefit comes to ironically all of us . . . regardless, they do represent a secret voting block and will not want to be made public . . . also I'm all half heartedly trying to figure them out just because I'm trying to gather as much info as I can . . . I still have something like 74 combinations of lovers that could be out there, so the chance of me actually finding them is pretty remote and will pretty much only happen if I get lucky . . . | |||
